About Tom Reidy

He is a graduate of St. John Fisher College and holds an advanced studies certificate in Executive Leadership: Preparing for an Uncertain Future, from Cornell University. With over 30 years of accomplishments in leadership, he is the only expert of his type to appear 10 consecutive times in Who's Who in America.

Tom got his start in international diplomacy in 1976 by appearing on the cover of Soviet Life Magazine.  representing the National Council of YMCAs at an American-Soviet conference, he learned early in his career that the principles of leadership are universal.  After his eye-opening visit to the Soviet Union, he returned to the United States with an even greater appreciation for American democracy—the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness—the very embodiment of entrepreneurship. 

After nine years in the YMCA executive system, he began his financial consulting career, earning the advanced designation of Certified Financial Planner.  In 1985, he was honored by receiving the Outstanding Financial Planner of the Year Award, at IDS/American Express.

Tom became the division manager for Waddell & Reed, Rochester, New York, in 1995.   During his tenure, he recruited trained and developed an investment sales force from scratch. It gained national recognition for being the highest paid per-capita sales force in the country--all within 18 months.

In January 2002, Tom began his business leadership and development-coaching program.  "I believe improving business leadership cannot be a onetime exercise," Tom explains.  "Getting better results is tough to do without consistent coaching, and ongoing support.  Positive reinforcement is necessary for personal growth."
